She worked for 9 years as a Nutrition Educator through University of Alaska Fairbanks, CES and has been in the field of nutrition since 2008. Kim received her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1998. She became manual therapy certified (MTC) in 2003. She has been a Certified Kinesio-taping practitioner (CKTP) since 2003 and utilizes Kinesio-taping for both acute and chronic injuries. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), with an emphasis in orthopedic manual therapy, in 2007. In 2017, she became a certified Arvigo® Practitioner. Kim is an expert level myofascial release practitioner utilizing the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Approach®.

Samantha Berg is a Licensed and NCCAOM Board Certified Acupuncturist/Chinese Medicine Practitioner with a Master’s Degree from the the Maryland University of Integrated Health in 2003.

Along with her husband, Licensed and Board Certified Acupuncturist, Kevin Meddleton, they have owned and operated Alaska Center for Acupuncture in Palmer, Alaska since April of 2005. Sam and Kevin have also been teaching Meditation classes in the Valley since 2010. Sam and Kevin are passionate about an empowering approach to health that helps each of their clients to design a unique and individual path to wellness using a combination of Chinese Herbs, Acupuncture and Meditation as well as referrals to other holistic healthcare practitioners in the Valley.

She began her business, Farm779, after providing vegan nut kefirs and fermented foods for a dear friend in the last stages of brain, lung and breast cancer treatment. Dr. Owen Mandanas
Owen Mandanas, D.D.S.A large percentage of her practice is dedicated to sleep breathing disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea. She is passionate about studying craniofacial anatomy and development which can be the source of many sleep issues in children and adults.
The past few years, Dr. Mandanas has moved professionally into a new direction of integrative dentistry. Her focus is whole body wellness!
Dr. Mandanas completed her undergraduate education at Goucher College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1990. She continued on to Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, for dental school, graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2000.
In the past few years, she has studied and become certified in the DNA appliance with Dr. Dave Singh at Biomodeling Solutions, with Dr. Ljuba Lemke in the ALF appliance, and with the Postural Restoration Institute
